Verdigris Leaf Rainbow Moonstone Necklace

A textured, 3D leaf in beautiful blue green turquoise verdigris patina holds a blue flash rainbow moonstone teardrop briolette. Handmade and wire wrapped gemstone pendant dangles from 18″ silver chain.

The leaf charm is approximately 37 x 25mm and features a Turquoise Patina. It’s wavy and dimensional (3D) like a true leaf, frozen and captured in bronze.

The rainbow moonstone pear briolette has a sparking inner blue fire as the light strikes it. The teardrop shape gem is approximately 11mm in length. The gem is wire-wrapped in non-tarnish, sterling silver plated wire.

Rainbow moonstone is an amazing stone that’s almost impossible to photograph. The stone is “alive” with iridescent fire and a color shift towards blue in various types of light. Moonstone is of course associated with the Moon and with the Goddess Diana. It’s a powerful stone said to protect those of a sensitive nature and bring good emotions to the wearer. Because of it’s tie to emotions and the moon, it’s said to be a woman’s gemstone.

The necklace is finished with an 18″ Figaro sterling silver plated chain and lobster claw clasp.
