Owl Full Moon Tree of Life Pendant
A small copper owl sits in the branches of this two tone, brown and copper Tree of Life pendant featuring an Opalite Rainbow Moonstone Full Moon. Handmade and hand wire wrapped.
The Tree of Life is a concept that’s been featured in myth, story and legend literally all around the world. Since ancient times, people have used variations on the theme. Connecting all things – the realms of the spirit, the physical, the Divine and the mundane – the roots of the Tree and the branches touch all things and bring them together in harmony.
This pendant is handmade using painstaking wire-wrapping techniques. Permanently colored brown wire encircles the pendant, and non-tarnish copper wire is used as the roots, trunk and branches of the tree. This tree is bare of leaves like one would see in Winter and features a large, rainbow moonstone “full moon” behind the branches. Nestled in the branches is a copper owl bead.
Owls have had significant cultural, spiritual and mythical symbolism literally all around the world since ancient times, from the ancient Greek goddess of wisdom, Athena, to Egyptian, Celtic and Hindu honoring the owl for it’s guardianship of souls passing to the underworld, to Indigenous people all around the world revering it as a wise keeper of knowledge and mystical secrets. There’s no doubt the owl is a fascinating and beautiful bird and it fits in perfectly with this little piece of wearable night sky!
